What initially attracted you to Takeda? Why did you join the organization?​

I initially joined as a couple of colleagues reached out and encouraged me and explained how good the culture and opportunity for growth are.

I saw it as an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry and further develop my career with a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.

What made you want to come back to Takeda and stay?​

I returned for the same reasons I had joined in the first place. Also, for the organization to reach out again to an employee who left, reflects its culture and shows me how confident and strong the company's values and commitment to its employees are.

In addition, the new role I was offered was something I was looking for throughout my career, and the opportunity to do this at Takeda was something I could not miss.

Can you share how external experiences enhanced your skills, providing a significant boost to your career at Takeda?​

I have worked for 3 companies throughout my career which allowed me to experience benchmarking, not only through my studies but my roles too. Benchmarking is also about how to avoid bad practices.

This exposure to different work cultures and practices has broadened my perspective and allowed me to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to my role at Takeda.

It has also enabled me to adapt quickly to new environments and challenges, making me a more versatile and resilient professional. Overall, these external experiences have greatly enhanced my skills and contributed to my success at Takeda.

It is worth mentioning that bringing my benchmarking experiences to Takeda strengthens best practices and has raised awareness to avoid bad ones.

What about Takeda’s culture makes you feel like you belong?​

In the pharma industry, it is common to see that the patient and business are the center of what we do, but the difference in culture is how to drive the business.

At Takeda, I believe trust and reputation are key cultural values that make me feel like I belong, as it aligns with my own values and principles.

Describe your ongoing development journey within Takeda after returning, and how it aligns with your career aspirations.​

What a development journey it has been!

I left Takeda with experience in Project Engineering, leading large projects, then returned to the Operational Engineering side.

I have applied my project management and previous operational site experience to optimize operations and streamline processes within the engineering department.

This aligns perfectly with my career aspirations to continue growing as a leader in the engineering field and to make a tangible impact on the efficiency and success of the organization.

I am grateful for the opportunity to return to Takeda and contribute to its continued success.
