The Opportunity

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will leverage your expertise in machine learning, generative AI, and advanced data analysis to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team and drive our data science initiatives, contributing significantly to our data-driven decision-making process.

Objectives

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and identify opportunities to apply advanced data science techniques to solve complex problems.
• Design and develop machine learning models and generative AI solutions to address business challenges and improve decision-making processes.
• Operationalize machine learning models and ensure their integration into production systems, driving user adoption and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and refine analytical models to ensure they provide actionable insights and adapt to evolving business requirements.

Accountabilities

• Identify and prioritize data science opportunities that can provide strategically relevant insights and drive business value.
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning algorithms such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Apply generative AI techniques to create innovative solutions and enhance existing processes.
• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure scalable and reliable deployment of machine learning models.
• Interact with business users to define pain points, problem statements, and data science use cases. Develop solutions using advanced data science methodologies.
• Lead the evaluation of model performance through rigorous testing, validation, and iteration to ensure models meet business objectives.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science and AI, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in the development and deployment of AI solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling (e.g., clustering, segmentation, multivariate, regression) and experience with tools like R, Python, and Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning tools and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Expertise in Statistical and Econometric Methods: Demonstrated proficiency in advanced statistical techniques and econometric modeling, including but not limited to regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and causal inference.
• Experience with Time Series Analysis and Forecasting: Proven track record in developing and implementing time series models for forecasting business metrics, demand planning, and financial projections.
• Ability to build and maintain scalable data pipelines for training and deploying machine learning models.
• Experience with model evaluation techniques such as cross-validation, A/B testing, and performance metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with multifunctional teams.
• Experience working with agile teams.

Salary

As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is € 3800 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
