Job Description
Job title: Lean OpEx Project Manager (Agile Champion )
Location: IRL - Bray
We are looking for a person to join the Agile (Lean/OpEx) team and play a key role in implementing measurable improvements across our Value Stream and Support Functions
Key Responsibilities
- Identify improvement opportunities in Value Stream and Support functions
- Deliver step change projects across the site using lean/six sigma principles
- Ensure execution of Lean/OpEx projects on time and in full
- Ensure industry standard Lean & OpEx methods and techniques are deployed in all improvement initiatives
- Work with Business Excellence and Agile/OpEx Leads and other stakeholders to agree priority initiatives
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with all departments in Value Stream and Support functions across the site
- Collaborate with wider Global Agile community in training, knowledge-sharing meetings and Communities of Practice
Coaching:
- Be an ambassador for OpEx principles and methods across the site as required
- Help ensure OpEx methods are adapted to easily understandable and implementable formats within all areas on site
- Provide support and coaching to team members in value stream and support functions.

- Develops strong working relationships with stakeholders in other areas and demonstrates effective stakeholder management

- Inquisitive disposition, does not easily accept status-quo
- Willing to participate in Agile reviews and learning encounters across the wider Takeda organisation
- Strong interest in digital technology
Key Skills & Competencies
- Experience in Pharmaceuticals / life sciences is preferred
- Project management experience – ability to plan and deliver a well-defined scope of work
- Lean 6S qualifications (e.g. Green Belt) highly advantageous
- Flexible and willing to learn, with an ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge and standards
- Systematic thinker, demonstrated ability to analyse processes and interpret data
- Good coaching, teaching, presentation (oral and written), and facilitation skills
- Courage to challenge and not accept status quo
- Good listening and presenting skills
- Good level of MS Office skills, additional data management experience (Minitab, PowerBi) an advantage
- Third-level qualification in technical discipline required
