Job Description
The Nursing Services Operations Manager has direct responsibility ensuring operational and tactical effectiveness of the outsourced Nursing program specific to Specialty and/or Rare disease product program(s).
You will be responsible for managing the relationship with Takeda Nursing direct customers and service partners. You will also be responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders to develop, maintain and improve the program operations of Takeda Patient Services Nursing services, create goals for our partners and keep them accountable to their service agreements and KPIs.
Your will work with numerous internal and external groups including, but not limited to; Takeda Patient Suppport team, Patient Services Leads, HUB Service partners, Specialty Pharmacy partners, Clinical Educators, Patient Engagement and Excellence, Marketing, Market Access, Legal and Compliance in order to manage and optimize patients' experience with nursing services that may be offered for their prescribed Takeda Therapy. You will operate in a highly visible, strong team environment with multiple competing priorities.
Accountabilities:
- Manage operational and tactical execution of outsourced Nursing Vendor programs
- Manage Vendor budget, Forecast, POs, invoicing and some training
- Provide insights and recommendations regarding possible enhancements or opportunities to improve existing programs based on daily observations and reports
- Manages performance dashboards and interprets program and vendor data for purposes of assessing trends, program utilization and performance against defined KPIs.
- Manage processes and SOPs to guide nursing vendor programs (day-to-day operations, request process and status reporting, escalations, etc.)
- Partner with Patient Services teams, Project Management and across franchise teams to monitor and adjust processes, understand obstacles, and communicates regarding process changes
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships (Case Managers, Vendor Management, Process and Systems, Quality& Effectiveness, Analytics & Insights, US Patient Services, Marketing, Market Access, Legal, Compliance, etc.) to ensure effective management of day-to-day operations of nursing programs, enhancements, process updates or changes, troubleshooting, and all other issues/topics.
- Align and collaborate with Quality & Effectiveness on the development of training materials for internal teams and collaborates appropriately with Marketing for nursing vendor programs
- Align and collaborate with Quality & Effectiveness on the development of training materials for outsourced nurse vendor on programs and products
- When requested [rovide onboarding support to new team members within Takeda (program overview, injection/infusion training, process training, etc.)
When requested provide training to new and existing outsourced team members (onboarding, REMS, program overiew, device audits etc.)
Experience needed:
- Strong vendor management skill set,strong clinical knowledge as related to processes for patient/caregiver education. Ability to work in a highly-matrixed, cross functional environment
- Ability to multi task, problem solve effectively while working in a team environment
- Individual must possess and portray strong emotional resilience
- leadership skills, and ability to execute high level ideas on an individual basis
- Ability to handle sensitive information
- Reliable, consistent delivery, conscientious and responsible
Minimum Qualifications/Travel Requirements:
- Up to 10% Travel
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred; clinical experiences and/or education (RN, MSN, Pharmacy, inpatient/outpatient setting experience etc.) preferred
- 5+ years of commercial operations, patient services, clinical education experiences or related experience.
- Experience working with vendor(s) and patient services
- Comfortable with CRM and technology tools with ablity to pull data and utilize reporting/presentations; preferred
- Contracting/sourcing experience, contract management, functional budget management experience preferred

Lexington, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
$108,500.00 - $170,500.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
