The Opportunity

Takeda is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Project Manager specialized in Global Transparency Disclosure Reporting to join our dynamic team. As an IT Project Manager in Transparency Disclosure area, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing projects related to transparency reporting across various regions, including the US Federal, States, EFPIA, and other Local Country Reports. This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, stakeholder engagement, and IT project management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop project plans, define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and execute projects in line with established timelines and budgets.
Work closely with internal and external IT teams to implement, enhance, and integrate systems and technologies for data collection, reporting, and analysis, such as Transparency Reporting and Master Data Management platforms.
Stay updated on US and international regulations governing transparency reporting, such as the Sunshine Act, EFPIA Disclosure Code, and other Local Country reporting guidelines.
Identify project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
Maintain project documentation, prepare status reports, and deliver transparent and accurate reports to stakeholders and senior management as required.
Lead and support project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and conflict resolution to ensure successful project delivery.
Evaluate and enhance transparency reporting processes, tools, and systems to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and maintain compliance.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Ethics & Compliance, Legal, Finance, and internal IT, to ensure alignment and transparency in data collection and reporting rule updates.
Collaborate closely with the Ethics & Compliance business team to oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of data required for transparency reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Provide training and support to team members and end-users on Transparency Reporting Tools.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Over 10+ years of comprehensive IT experience, including 6+ years of specialized expertise as a Project Manager in a software development or IT environment emphasize in transparency reporting within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
Experience leading Agile teams and delivering projects using Agile practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
Ability to work independently, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of US and international transparency regulations, guidelines, and reporting frameworks.
Proficiency in Transparency Reporting platforms, Master Data Management Systems (Reltio, Informatica), Analytical Tools (Power BI, Qlik), ETL tools such as Informatica, Denodo, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, quality, and compliance.
Certifications related to project management (e.g. PMP) or healthcare compliance are a plus.
