Job Description
RD Franchise Lead
This role is oriented to sales and marketing professionals with excellent success records, whose role includes significant project and other work undertaken in the country/sub-cluster.
Role Goals
- To work and connect with all involved national and local parties and arrange follow-up on treatment of patients with Takeda products having patients in centre of what we do.
- To promote our products as defined by the company, to healthcare professionals in relevant target groups in territory.
- To maximize the business benefit, sales, and profit, through the local implementation of Takeda marketing strategy by organizing all necessary contacts and activities in collaboration with management and within the agreed promotional and cost budget.
- Participation/Lead in projects as defined by the national and subcluster management.
- Create and elaborate the annual marketing plans; define the key strategic directions, product positioning, critical success factors, key drivers and in relation with them the detailed tactical plan that ensures the achievement of medical education and patients’ access targets
Responsibilities
Job Duty and Description
KAM (50%):
- Opinion Lead and Key account management in specialized treatment centres, support, and leverage customer connectivity locally and internationally, Product promotion at scientific events.
- Proactive surveillance of pricing environment and support local team to maintain reimbursement within defined price range. Support HCPs to obtain individual patient level reimbursement
- Plan promotion with management of local investment budget
- Plan and record activities in CRM system.
- Obtain, share, and leverage competitive market intelligence
- Initiate and organize commercial education activities to increase disease awareness, product knowledge and support product promotion
Brand (or therapy area) Lead (50%)
- Create and elaborate the annual marketing plans; in alignment with Commercial Head define the key strategic directions, product positioning, critical success factors, key drivers and in relation with them the detailed tactical plan that ensures reaching given KPIs
- In collaboration with medical department propose and create relevant Promo materials to support field activities
- Secure implementation of agreed tactics
- Participate in preparation during the financial planning processes (MRP & MYC)
Education & Experience Requirements
Minimum:
- University degree in Medicine/Stomatology/Pharmacy or equivalent
- Experience in Key Accounting and Hospital Management.
- Excellent expertise on the country health care system
- Serbian as native language and Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- IT skills (MS Office proficiency as minimum)
Desirable:
- Experience in specialized prescription pharmaceutical business and hospital sector.
- Commercial and marketing experience in pre-launch and launch activities.
- Intimate knowledge of the country pharmaceutical industry’s code of conduct and compliance regulations
- Existing contacts with specialists in relevant specialties treating Therapy area diseases

- He/she should also be able to work on his own without daily guidance/support from superior to achieve our goals.
- A high degree of flexibility in a rapidly developing market and organization. Proactive pioneering attitude in developing new markets.
- High level of strategic and analytical thinking to set key objectives and the right ways to achieve them.
- Experience in sales and marketing and particularly in development and implementation of both sales and marketing strategy and plan.
- Strong winning mindset profile, initiative and commitment; entrepreneurial skills, creativity and the ability to keep going in the face of hardship.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare system and experience in managing specialty care products; ability to conduct the business in a volatile environment by anticipating the major changes and the impact on Takeda portfolio.

- The person must decide on his own travel/visit plans in the territory and where to set priorities in customer support to achieve our goals.
- Close interaction and alignment with management.
Internal and External Contacts
Internal:
- Reports to Commercial Head for Genetic Diseases Serbia
- Regular contacts and exchange with other colleagues in Commercial, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Finance, HR, occasional interaction with international BU
- Interaction with national and international peers
External:
- Key Opinion Leads, RD Committee members, hospital physicians, hospital pharmacist and hospital staff at secondary care level
- Local and national payors, e.g. at sick funds
- Patient organizations and regional medical societies and meeting organizers.
- Logistical Distributor
- Hospital healthcare professionals and hospital management e.g. Finance/Procurement
Other Job Requirements
- Driver’s license mandatory.
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken) to allow efficient scientific reading in the disease area and to take part in international meetings and trainings.
- Ability to travel locally and internationally as required.
